OwnLicense takes 0% of your sales. What runs in your own Worker is free; only the central service would have paid plans, with prices still to be decided. Here's what you get, what you pay and to whom.
Free in your Worker
What runs in your Worker has no artificial limits: it's yours.
Paid prices to be set
What a Worker can't do alone will have paid plans, with prices still to be decided.
Yours in your Cloudflare
You need your own Worker in your Cloudflare: your data, your licenses and your database (D1) live in your account, not ours.
0% from us
We never touch your money: payments go from your customer to your Stripe account, and Stripe charges you its fees directly.
Stripe is the merchant of record and handles VAT in each country: about 3.5% on top of the standard fee, roughly 5% + €0.25 in total for European cards.
Only the standard fee (about 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards); you handle tax and invoicing.
Stripe fees are indicative as of Oct 22, 2026.
Everything that runs in your Worker. It has no artificial limits because it's yours: it runs in your account and you pay Cloudflare for it directly.
What a Worker can't do well on its own would live in our central service, with paid plans. How much, and exactly what each plan includes, isn't decided: the waitlist answers will help us set it, and we'll publish prices before the beta opens.
The Worker, its D1 database and its signing keys live in your Cloudflare account. The Workers free plan, which includes D1, is usually enough to start; if you grow, the Workers paid plan starts at $5 a month and you pay Cloudflare directly.
With Managed Payments, Stripe is the merchant of record and handles VAT and sales tax in each country. With regular Checkout, you only pay the standard fee and handle tax yourself (with or without Stripe Tax).
For your customer portal and the emails your customers receive.
We take 0% of your sales. Stripe charges its fees directly to your account. Approximate figures for European cards as of Oct 22, 2026; always check Stripe's pricing page for your country.
| Option | Fee per sale | Who handles tax |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe Checkout (standard) | About 1.5% + €0.25 | You (optionally with Stripe Tax) |
| Stripe Managed Payments | About 3.5% on top of the standard fee: roughly 5% + €0.25 in total | Stripe, as merchant of record |
| Subscriptions (Stripe Billing) | About 0.7% extra on recurring payments | Same as above |
Stripe fees are indicative as of Oct 22, 2026, may vary by country and card, and are set by Stripe, not us.
A commission on every sale would put us between you and your money, which is exactly what we want to avoid. If the central service is worth paying for, it should be a plan you choose, not a cut of your revenue.
Join the waitlist and we'll let you know when the private beta opens. Nobody can use it or sign up for it yet.
